About Mark My Pics

Mark My Pics is a free, browser-based watermarking tool built for photographers, designers, small business owners, content creators, and anyone who wants to protect their images online without giving up privacy or paying a subscription.

Our story

Mark My Pics was created by DGTL Creative Solutions after we kept running into the same problem with existing watermark tools: they either required an account, uploaded sensitive images to unknown servers, locked the most useful features behind a paywall, or buried users in advertising. We wanted a tool that respects your time and your data — one that does a single thing well and gets out of the way.

Every feature on this site exists for a practical reason. Batch processing exists because creators rarely watermark just one image. HEIC support exists because iPhones are everywhere. Local-only processing exists because nobody should have to upload a client photo, a draft product shot, or a personal picture to a stranger's server just to slap a copyright on it.

What we believe

  • Privacy is the default

Your images never leave your device. There is no upload step, no cloud queue, no analytics on your file contents.

  • Speed beats features

A tool you can finish using in under a minute is more valuable than one with a hundred buttons you'll never click.

  • Free should mean free

No trials, no email walls, no surprise upgrades. We support the project with light, non-intrusive ads and optional tips.

  • Works for everyone

If you have a browser, you have Mark My Pics — on a Chromebook, an old laptop, an iPhone, or a Windows PC.

Who we serve

Mark My Pics is used by independent photographers protecting client previews, real estate agents branding listing photos, Etsy and Shopify sellers marking product shots, social media managers preparing branded posts, illustrators sharing portfolio previews, teachers distributing classroom resources, and anyone who simply wants to add a "© Your Name" to a memory before posting it online.

We support JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, and HEIF — including the HEIC format used by default on modern iPhones. You can use plain text, a custom font and color, or upload your own logo as a transparent PNG.

How we keep it free

The site is supported by a small number of contextual display ads and an optional "Buy Me a Coffee" link. We don't sell your data, we don't profile your behaviour, and we don't run remarketing pixels. If you'd like to support the project directly, tipping a coffee covers more of the bill than a year of ad views ever will — but there is no obligation, ever.
